Reejoc Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Decided to experiment with Baroque and made this small Chateau: All photos on Brickshelf Enjoy! Quote
K-Nut Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Very nice! I like how you used the hinges to make the walls curve. They're very subtle. Nice work! Quote
Foremast Jack Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 ... and made this small Chateau: Not so sure I'd call that "small." It does look nice though. Very elegant and cozy. Quote
JackJonespaw Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Very nice! I love the shape of this! Quote
Reejoc Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Not so sure I'd call that "small." It does look nice though. Very elegant and cozy. Point taken - it's just that my last model was the Belfry in Bruges and was over 5'2" (157cm)! Thanks for the comments Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Nice design I like the tan grey colourscheme and the decorations at the front, like what seem to be 1x1 tan round plates. I'm sure you could make this more awesome with a landscape, interior and minifigs around it, but for a "small MOC" this will do Quote
soccerkid6 Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 (edited) Very nice build! The angled walls are what really stand out to me, and your window design fits the building very well. I might have to steal your front stairs design in a future MOC (if it is alright with you of course). Keep up the great work Edited February 9, 2012 by soccerkid6 Quote
Reejoc Posted February 13, 2012 Author Posted February 13, 2012 Gorgeous! Does the roof come off? It comes off but there's no interior. I hate making furnishings! Quote
michaelozzie Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Another beautiful building moc reejoc Quote
Jesperallen Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 This is all wonderful! The roofs are great and its nice to see a moc where all elaborate details fits this well. Quote
supersympa Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 "Decided to experiment with Baroque and made this small Chateau:" what do you mean by small! LOL I really enjoy this baroque castle, very nice replica of some of the chateau de la loire. I really enjoy it! may be an addition to it could be a "barroque garden" that was also typical at this time. Quote
