Captain Redbeard Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) I will try and post some better pictures later, but for now, it seems I am limited by forum restrictions. The ship still needs alot of work with the sails, rigging, and other details, but you get the basic idea. More to come later. Update: I am now able to post a few better pictures showing the progress of the build. Edited February 5, 2012 by Captain Redbeard Quote
Frank Brick Wright Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 It does look nice though the photos are indeed small. Check out the tutorials on this forum (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18451) for posting the pictures. You need to upload them to a website like flickr or brickshelf and then deeplink them. Quote
kurigan Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I like her already as you went with an all brick built hull, can't wait to see more. Thanks for sharing! Quote

Foremast Jack Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Update: I am now able to post a few better pictures showing the progress of the build. It's great that you were able to post all those additional photos, but they are WAY too big. 800x600 is maximum. Please resize when you can. Quote

______ Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 That looks bigger than minifig scale Still a fine looking ship though, will it have black sails anytime soon? Quote
Captain Redbeard Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 That looks bigger than minifig scale Still a fine looking ship though, will it have black sails anytime soon? I plan on giving it black sails, but I haven't settled on the best method of coloring them. I started using some black chalk. It gave a good textured look, but it requires more than I have, and I have not had the time to go get some more. Quote
De Sandman Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Wow, i think i have missed this onze, looks great, i love the brickbuilt hull but your masts are a bit short. I would love to see this with black sails. Quote
