ub40 Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Hi, I just bought a few items from the Lego online store under the "Hard to Find" section. I am somewhat confused because when I phoned the Lego store, I was told that they had large enough quantities of many items. How can these items be "Hard to Find" when they are easily available from Lego themselves, let alone places like eBay and Bricklink? Quote
Ricecracker Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Hard to Find generally refers to the product's availability through other retailers, not LEGO themselves. Quote

Actually I believe the hard to find items are LEGO exclusives, meaning you can only get them from an actual LEGO store or Shop@home. Toys R Us is deep in bed with LEGO so sometimes they get exclusives as well. Quote
fyrmedhatt Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 The hard to find sets on shop at home are either previous shop at home exclusives ( like Tower Bridge or the Pet Store) or limited edition sets that are retailer limited, meaning that they are available only through a single retailer in a country as well as S@H/ Lego stores.
