LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Beautiful start! I love this chassis ...it looks really aggressive! Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 I get a Mad Max feeling with this, great! Quote

Yatkuu Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Cool, looks like you are developing a new line! Your cars remind me of the Interstate games... Quote
danim Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 (edited) if I am right that trucks called the dreadnaught and the car is based off of a 2005 mustang gt driven by an inocent man Edited February 3, 2012 by danim Quote
JackJonespaw Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Oh VERY nice title. These look great! How do you get the pictures to look like this, where you can see the individual pieces, instead of what it usually looks like in LDD? Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 (edited) Cool, looks like you are developing a new line! Your cars remind me of the Interstate games... :) The semi is based on The Dreadnaught from the Death Race movie, the car is Ol' Gypsy from the Wasteland Angel game --> http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=65422 It's based on the same car model so the Death Race Mustang and this Wasteland Angel version are similar Oh VERY nice title. These look great! How do you get the pictures to look like this, where you can see the individual pieces, instead of what it usually looks like in LDD? Turn on the "Outlines" option in your LDD Preferences. Edited February 3, 2012 by DrNightmare Quote
danim Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 so I was right about the dreadnought and it looks good although I think the front blades don't look right. The car is nice but I think it is a bit big compared to the truck Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 Should probably make this 9 or 10 wide to be more accurate since obviously the semi should be a little wider, but I'm keeping it at 8-wide just because. :] Maybe I should extend the rear axles by a stud though to extend the cabin too Annoying that I couldn't find any side by side scenes of this semi and the Mustang to gauge their scale Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 (edited) Extended cab/wheels by a stud Going to leave the length as is, I think the proportions are decent now Edited February 3, 2012 by DrNightmare Quote
gotoAndLego Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 I dig it a lot. It has an excellent pockylips vibe. "Two days ago I saw a rig that could haul that tanker." :D Quote
-zenn Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Nasty looking spikes! Are those ninja throwing stars!? Quote
danim Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 I belive this is the image your looking for Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 (edited) -No, it's not the image I need. I need them side by side length-wise, I have the movie and already looked through it. Doesn't matter anymore, I'm happy with this lol -And yeah, those are ninjago stars, they don't come in dark bley though Maybe replace them with dark grey bushes? I'd like to make some of the other cars from the movie but I don't know how much armor detail I can add without making them look bulky... Edited February 3, 2012 by DrNightmare Quote
CptMugwash Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Damn that's a wicked truck, loving those Boadicea spikes, it also kinda rmeinds me of Dead Reckoning from Land of the Dead. I hope there's a trailer to go with it, not exactly like Deathrace but something nice... Also for spikes as you've said the throwing stars aren't available in grey how about sais? or just use some knives. Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted February 4, 2012 Author Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) The sais look like a good alternative, also the trailer is demoralizing me, I can't quite get the round shape on top without blocking it comepletely Maybe this? Edited February 4, 2012 by DrNightmare Quote
