TheSeek Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 ok, i know this has been asked a few times before, and the answers were always "it can't be done in LDD", but i found these 2 vids wich clearly shows it can actually be done... so...how can it be done? Quote
zinfinion Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 All I know for certain is that the Hinge Align Tool was used in the castle drawbridge example. How it was used, I have no idea. I've only used it successfully once, and that was pretty much accidental. Quote
Calabar Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 ok, i know this has been asked a few times before, and the answers were always "it can't be done in LDD", but i found these 2 vids wich clearly shows it can actually be done... so...how can it be done? The movements you can see in the videos are simply "side effects" obtained using the hinge align tool in LDD. Here in this forum there is surely a topic where the author of the videos (could be the user bbqqq, if I'm not wrong) shows his discover. EDIT: here are two links: click and click. Quote
DLuders Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Hmmm, I wonder if bbqqq can replicate in LDD and have all the gears turn simulataneously with the "Hinge Align Tool": Quote
Nachapon Bricks Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Hmmm, I wonder if bbqqq can replicate in LDD and have all the gears turn simulataneously with the "Hinge Align Tool": Maybe SR 3D builder can do that easily. Hinge align tool acts like it's trigger the physic code. Trial and error to find right place to click. Quote
