I stopped at Toys R Us in Newington NH to get a gift and when I walked through the front door I was greeted by this~

It had a card saying it took 170 hours to build and took over 21,000 parts.

Wow. LEGO sculptures always interest me, the use of little more than basic bricks and plates to create such organic forms. I'm a bit surprised that the flag isn't made out of LEGO, presumably the entire thing is glues (eliminating stability issues), so it should be a trivial matter to build a brick-built flag for him...

Pretty cool. If this is the same one, this was posted here awhile ago(a year or better). Although, I don't remember the flag being there...

Maybe it travels around? I know it wasn't at this store a couple months ago when I was there~

There's one just like it (sans flag) at the TRU in Layton, UT. I'm pretty sure they are 2 separate models because the one in Layton has been there for years.
