DLuders Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 (edited) On the "Sheepo's Garage" website, Spanish AFOL Sheepo posted his Lego Technic Astra 8x8 Mini Trial Truck. It uses Ackermann Steering geometry for its four front wheels. He posted 9 large pictures on his Brickshelf gallery. It is only 14 studs wide but has great climbing ability, and can even do a TAIL STAND as seen on this : In the YouTube video comments, TheFredo66250 wrote that "I am soon going to make the instructions in my next video," and posted this YouTube video showing a similar front axle design: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIBr-QhysSw Edited January 21, 2012 by DLuders Quote
Splat Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Nice work. I really like the way the 'suspension stabilizer' helps the rear axles get over the obstacles (tip: watch the video to see it in action). Quote
