Megafactories and Ultimate factories are the same, just different names for different countries I think. Here is the link to it on Youtube, it was on a few years ago as Megafactories.

Not the same episode though. The info says it's "NEW" with the year 2012. I guess we'll find out tonight if it is in fact new.

Oh. Hopefully it is then. Too bad I wont be around to see it, hopefully there is a repeat soon.

It was that same one just like he said. Only named differently for the US market.

Yeah...I still watched it though. It's fun seeing the ins and outs of our beloved brick. Seeing the whole design process of the new dog.

I watched it and I thought it was great to see the process I had not seen it previously so I am glad they showed it again. I always wondered how they got all those different parts into each numbered bag and the effort to make sure there is not any missing pieces.

Also, something I thought was neat, but was quick and easy to miss was the print being applied to the oval Lion shield. Stuck the red-white-lion-lion outline/details. I wasn't aware prints were done in layers like that. Very cool.

I watched this last night, and it was pretty good. I didn't realize their factories were so automated! The storage robot was pretty cool in particular.

I liked seeing the designers at work. The one thing that bugged me is the same thing that gets me with other TV shows - they kind of gloss over some details that I wish they would go more into. It's fun to hear the stats of how many bricks per day a certain area puts out. But after a while it gets repetitive and I'd like to know more how the machines work.

Did anybody else think they played up the part about the line holdup? They talked about how serious it could be, but the workers looked pretty calm and even bored. Then they said it was like 10 minutes away from shutting down everything. I wonder if they were exaggerating a little bit there.

Another part I liked was how they come up with a story for the sets. The little City robber supposedly has that gray jacket on, and they said it's as if he pulled on someone's jacket over his jail clothes after making a jail break.

All that footage of bricks being carted around made me drool. My girlfriend said "what would you do if they let you have 15 minutes in there and let you take whatever you want?" :oh:

I think the reason they weren't so crazy about the shut down is because they had no control over it. It was at another place and they couldn't do anything on their end, but wait.

Can anybody find this on iTunes? My wife said it had a download on iTunes banner and I would be more than willing to buy the episode, I just can't find it. Thanks!

If it's there, it's doing a good job of hiding. As far as mine goes, I have 13 episodes, none of which are LEGO.

This was an awesome programe I must say. In the UK it came under the Megafactories title and coincidentlay came out just at the time that we bought the new Police station set. Great to see what went into designing and manufacture of that set.

Oh and another thing. I found it amusing that they were touting Lego Universe as a big important investment for Lego. The show was clearly made months ago, because LU is shutting down about 6 days from now. That was kind of awkward.

Yeah that was funny.
