I consider this of interest to Train Tech

I call it the Retro Ghan, I have no idea what model it is.

Wow the Wikipedia article has the same train!

I wanted to improve the design of the Santa-fe. But I will be trying some more curves in the roof. Carriages are next (But will take some extensive designing time). Too bad I cannot build this lovely Australian Train in real bricks. There are some real colour shenanigans for imaginary parts in this build.

I like the red & white livery of this train!

It's actually red and silver, but I agree it's a nice livery. The silver doesn't photograph well so it's easy to mix it up.

How about Metalic White?

It's more like metallic grey in real life. The restored engine is definitely not white, and the photos of them during their working lives look even darker, though that could be because they were mostly pretty dirty. I doubt they would have been washed very often since they ran in mostly very arid areas where water is precious.

I've been considering building 'The Overland' which had the same colour scheme and if I did I'd use one of the metallic greys if I could, otherwise light or even dark bluish grey.
