Saberwing40k Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Here it is, the new Utahraptor trike. the idea just sort of came to me, fully formed, and i was able to build it in only one day. it has an adder mechanism, which was meant to make it fast, but it does not work as intended, as one motor simply drives the other, without moving it forward. as it is a high speed model, it has self centering steering, which is based off of an idea by efferman. and finally, it has suspension in the rear, courtesy of a unique pair of drive shafts.(unique because I've never seen them on both sides.) and a pair of stiff shock absorbers. well, that's all there really is to say, just look at the pictures. i will post instructions, just not right now. oh yeah, i apologize in advance for the less than good pics. "you'll only ever see me like this when I'm standing still." "yes, you'd better keep a lookout for me." "you are a truly lucky individual if you are allowed to get this close." "please stay off." "no, seriously, back away. "now, please right me." "goodbye." p.s. the quotes below the images are from VALERIE, the A.I. system of the Utahraptor prototype. p.p.s. i will have instructions done sometime this week, so watch this space. Quote
