WhiteFang Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Hey guys, Just wanted to share this poster image which I have just received from my office email. Sounds pretty relevant if the Government (Ministry of Manpower) wanted to advocate and promote Workplace Health Safety for all workplaces in Singapore! I like the message below! Hope you have enjoyed viewing this. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 That's awesome. They chose a great fig for it. He looks rather annoyed about being in pieces. Quote
brickmack Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Heh, good poster. Nice minifig choice also. Quote
Brig. Brick Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 that's great, I love the lego ads/poster, it could really be helpfull as poster in safety and ocupacional hazard. its a great idea, and I think I´ll borrow it Quote
Cavey Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Hmmm a recent increase of lego minifigs in the SG media in the recent months.. and now moving to posters too.. Thanks for sharing whitefang Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Cool find Fangy! Simple but effective use of the minifig to convey the message! Coincidentally, I'm currently involved with the BizSafe (Worker's Safety Regulation of MoM) Program of our company, and I could very well relate with this one! "SAFETY FIRST" as they say in the workplace. Quote
Pandora Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Great to see that Fangy, thanks! I always meant to post these posters, used by the NHS here in the UK to promote 'flu vaccination. I'll have to link them, as the images are too large, but just like your poster they represent imaginative use of LEGO minifigs (in this case CMFs) to make a serious point. Clown Diver Dracula Karate Nurse Skater I've given the titles above as they are listed by the designers of the posters. Quote

Is it normal to call it a "flu jab"? Almost makes it sound cute. Maybe if they called it that over here instead of getting a "flu shot" there'd be more people getting them. Quote
Big Cam Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 That is just awesome. I wonder if they got TLG's permission to do that. Quote
WhiteFang Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 Hmmm a recent increase of lego minifigs in the SG media in the recent months.. and now moving to posters too.. I noticed too. It seems recently we can find some initiatives being related to LEGO one way or another to create awareness. Cool find Fangy! Simple but effective use of the minifig to convey the message! Coincidentally, I'm currently involved with the BizSafe (Worker's Safety Regulation of MoM) Program of our company, and I could very well relate with this one! "SAFETY FIRST" as they say in the workplace. Wow. Indeed, safety first. I always meant to post these posters, used by the NHS here in the UK to promote 'flu vaccination. I'll have to link them, as the images are too large, but just like your poster they represent imaginative use of LEGO minifigs (in this case CMFs) to make a serious point. Interesting posters too! It's really getting common to see it appearing in other parts of the world to promote their own messages to public. I wonder if they got TLG's permission to do that. I really really don't have any slightest idea at all. Quote
Rocketbilly Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 (edited) Very nice poster! that poor Minifig... I'd love to see these sorts of posters here in the UK, those NHS ones look rather good...I wonder if they'll be showing up? something to keep my eyes out for next time I'm afflicted with something.
