Burf2000 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 These wheels rock, so glad I managed to get some. Big thanks to http://Rotacaster.com.au I always find it hard to use large lego wheels like the Hailfire and Exoforce wheels. These have really opened up some fun possibilities for me as I build big. DLuders Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 @ Burf2000: Whoa -- your MOC is going to be HUGE! Did you import these directly from Australia? May I ask how much each of the 125mm Rotacaster Omniwheels cost? Quote
Burf2000 Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 Hey mate Its going to get a lot bigger, its going to be my extreme model meaning it will also use some of the metal linear actuators and some very cool mindsensor stuff once I get some time. I did get the wheels from Australia and the shipping was around $60 however I did get 8 of them and of the smaller ones. The big ones are quite heavy and so the shipping was actually pretty good value for money. If your interested in getting some, drop them a email. They are very friendly and helpful! Quote

Conchas Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Hi Simon, At their website, it seems only wheels compatible with NXT are the 48mm ones. Or is it that you can interchange the hubs with their larger wheels too? Quote

Well spotted, they fitted the 48mm hubs to these for me as a test however I have asked them and if people are interested then they will make more. They really do rock! Quote

Umm just a simply video of the ram extending would be fine. I would love to know the speed of which it extends and also the measurement of the ram extended and retracted. Thank You! tim Quote
