I know the playing cards for the Ninjago spinner game is not on many peoples priority list, but I was looking through my card holder to see if I was missing any cards and I am missing *3. I looked it up on Bricklink and it said it was a 3D card of Krazi, but it wasn't connected to a set. I thought I had gotten almost all of the Ninjago Masters of Spinjitzu sets. I think I am only missing the BrickMaster Mini Turbo Shredder, Enemy Training, and the promotional set with Jay.

So does anyone have the 3D Krazi card? If so, how did you get it? I'm a bit of a nutty completist...

Someone pointed me towards Brickipedia and here's what I found:

"The Holographic Krazi card was given to LEGO club members at Legoland Windsor on the 1st and 2nd of October 2011. It is the same as the norm."

Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Hi,

As Brickipedia states there are seven of the "special" *-cards in the first Ninjago wave. Some are easy to find. For example *7 is part of a regular set. Others can be quite difficult to get by if you want to complete the collection. I used a bit of time and effort to track them all down using eBay and other online auction sites. For me the *3 Krazi and *5 Off Balance were the hardest to get. What I know is that the *3 was given away by Toys'r'us in Sweden in a Ninjago launch campaign and the *5 was given away in a similar campaign in Australia. And these are also the countries that I found the cards in.

Anyway, it took some time but now I have the complete 88 Ninjago cards collection - and even in an official Lego Ninjago card collection binder. Fantastic!!! Actually, I almost got two complete collections but I lack the second *3 card.

Now, I will skip Ninjago wave 2 as I think the theme has gone in a completely wrong direction and I do not want to collect any more of those darn cards. :classic:

And yet most of us have already forgotten that TLG has not released a Jay DX card :sadnew: .

I haven't. :cry_sad: No Samukai card either, but that's more excusable because he simply does not function on a spinner.

Congrats on getting a complete collection. I don't blame you for not wanting to collect any more. It was rather a headache.

Thanks for the info on where it was released. I don't think I'll get it, but I'll keep an eye on ebay in case it shows up cheaply.
