Dwellington Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Hello everybody! I'm Dwellington. Pleasure to meet you all. I'm an animation buff and an action figure collector by trade, but I've been slowly returning to Lego over this past year. I mean, I've never NOT loved Lego, or seeing what clever and amazing stuff people can come up with, but I stopped buying new sets for myself some years ago. Pharaoh's Quest brought me back, since I dig me some ancient Egypt, and then I discovered I missed an entire line of Trolls and Goblins and Dwarfs...still kicking myself about that. Anyway, in my search for information about Castle sets, and reviews of the Kingdoms and Prince of Persia lines, I found this place, and I've been dropping by sporadically for the past like five months. It's only now that I've realized I come here enough that I might as well hop aboard. I, ah, can't think of much else to say. I'm not a particularly skilled builder, but I'm sure that'll change while I'm here. I'm into Ye Olden Times kinda themes, and really jazzed about Lord of the Rings. I look forward to tons of fun with you guys! Quote
The Blue Brick Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Welcome to Eurobricks. I also can't wait for LOTR! I hope you have a great time on the site. Quote
Flipz Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Hey, there, Welcome to Eurobricks! Since you like historic themes, you'll want to check out the Heroica RPG. It may not be historically accurate (like, at all ), but it's a lot of fun, and both in the Quests you partake in and the Quests you watch other Heroes follow, you'll see a lot of brilliant builds with magnificent stories behind them--stories that you can help create! Once again, welcome to Eurobricks, and I hope to see you around! --Flipz Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Welcome to EB. This is a great site for information on Lego. I also love older historic themes. I can't wait to see how Lord of the Rings will be, but I don't know how much I want it at first. We will see. Have fun. Quote
