Perry the Platypus Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 (edited) If you happen to collect the Ninjago spinner sets (like I do), feel free to post your trading card collection here. Edited January 9, 2012 by Perry the Platypus Quote
Capt. Bluebeard Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 I don't really collect them as such; I keep the character cards 'cause I like the artwork. I also keep ones that I like, such as Ninja Star (that card is so funny ). Bluebeard, out- Quote
The_Box Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Out of the original set (pre- Rise of the Snakes), all that I'm missing are the cards that came with Zane (regular), Cole (regular), and Cole DX. Also missing are a few of the promotional ones, such as *2 and *3. I have the cards that came with 4 available spinners, 3 booster packs and the starter set in the "Snakes" line. Some of the newer cards are just rehash/reprints of older cards, with the traps and 'Power Up' being these cards that I can think over off the top of my head. Quote
Darkdragon Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Are the cards random? I thought they were always the same in each booster kit (the ones with the spinner and the minifig). I have a bunch unopened because I don't play the game or collect the cards. Quote
The_Box Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Through my experience, the cards are not random. From what I can remember Lego even put out what cards can be found in what set on the Ninjago minisite. Quote
Aanchir Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 My twin brother and I have the cards from the Spinjitzu Dojo, Bonezai, and Ultimate Battle Arena sets. We haven't been collecting the spinners too much, since the minifigures and weapons can often be gotten at a better value from the larger building sets and the spinners tend to have a relatively low Bricklink price (since so many people for some reason think it's a good value to buy the spinners for the figs and then sell them separately from the spinners and cards that minifigure collectors don't tend to want). I have a bunch unopened because I don't play the game or collect the cards. The cards only come in certain packs; they are always the same. You need every spinner pack to get all the cards. Would you mind sending your unopened packs to me? I'm starting to collect them, and I only have 30 (25 from 2012, 5 from 2011). Quote
