Ceroknight Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 This is brilliant! Shouldn't it be in black and white though? Quote

Fridwulfa Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 (edited) Shouldn't it be in black and white though? Haha. Good point This is just perfect. I'm both envious and inspired! Edited January 8, 2012 by Fridwulfa Quote
KristofBD Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Veeery impressive! especially the fact that the tv works is a very nice touch! Quote
Theo Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 It is incredible how smooth it seems to work. Maybe you can enlightened us with a "behind the scenes" video? Quote

Gabe Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Omg, a brick built scrolling function - you just broke my brain. Amazing work, congrads on being front-paged! Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Super work I'd love to see other characters done, but I think it would be too much to ask. Quote
DaleDVM Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) This is great work. You really made my day! Now please do a spider man one where spider man goes up and down like he is swinging on a web and at the same time the city scrolls by. too much to ask... perhaps but I did say please. Edited January 9, 2012 by DaleDVM Quote
Angeli Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 you, my friend, are totaly crazy :) (in a good, lego way:))) ...wow :) Quote
The Real Indiana Jones Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) GENIUS!! Perhaps just add some more buildings to the open green space, so Metropolis look like one continuous mega-city...! Ooooh, or just some LCD lights around the edge of the screen to make the TV light up in the dark, yes?! KUDOS!! Edited January 9, 2012 by The Real Indiana Jones Quote
Mencot Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Whoa this thing is amazing. First when I saw this moc on the first page, nice buildt old tv but then when the topic opened and I read that you have buildt that the background scroll, whoa cool. How long did it take to get it to work great? But nice job, well done. Quote
Brickmamba Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 very cool concept and execution, beautiful! Quote

mortesv Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Simply amazing! This is absolute brilliant! I'm a big fan of Superman and if LEGO would ever make this set I would buy it in an instant! Congratulations on you creation, very creative! Can I have the instructions please? Quote
Mr Benn Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Really realy nice MOC. Would love to see it with the top off to see what's going on inside. Also - and I'm sure it would be a pain to do - you could potentially add some blocks with studs pointing out in the region just behind his cape, so as they whizzed past they hit the cape to give a bit of a flapping/movement effect... supersympa Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Brilliant! an original idea, and well planned and executed! really like it! Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Such a cool idea! You've really executed it very well, and I do like the background. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 That's lovely! TLG actually used the scrolling background technique for an official set in the Studios line, but with a paper backdrop loop instead of a brick-built one, and of course without a nifty TV "frame." Quote
Morten Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 That is just brilliant. I am looking forward to next episode. Great job. Morten Quote
KaPusta Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 How? How?! How it works? ;) amazing MOC) Quote
The Blue Brick Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 I love the classic feel of the television and the whole moc. Awesome job. Quote
