jorgeopesi Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 (edited) A caterpillar bulldozer with 4 motors and 6 funtions like the 8043 system but more small. It has 2 small linear actuators back and two big ones front with 4 big linear pneumatics, 2 front and 2 back with 2 pneumatic valvules. It has full independent suspension with rubber band and a pendular tracked suspension... and it works all . Edited January 8, 2012 by jorgeopesi Quote
DLuders Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Looks good so far! I like your use of BOTH pneumatic cylinders and Linear Actuators. Quote
timslegos Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Looks really good so far. Nice work. tim Quote

parda Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Nice job Jorge, Your building skills get improved each model you build Quote
jorgeopesi Posted January 8, 2012 Author Posted January 8, 2012 in withs scale is it in the 8275 I think mine is 5 studs smaller between axles that 8275 and it will have two functions more and all of them are much more realistics that lego set but it will not have fake engine, I have room for it but not for the trasmision . Smrgol Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Thats really nice, cant wait to see it completed Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Like it but i thought you were building a digger? Quote

Alasdair Ryan Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 (edited) It looking great,i might be a idea to see if you could give the front blade a bit more height,it looks like it could be too low, what valve design did you use,i am guessing it is not mine. Oh i would of also made it 2 studs wider,as it seems it looks a bit out of scale in terms of the width. Edited January 10, 2012 by Alasdair Ryan Quote

It looks a bit out of scale in terms of width for the tracks, the lego tracks are too big but the real D11 is narrow bulldozer and the technic experience will be better building with no room . The front blade will be up thank you and I don´t know who is the valve designer but is probably the best technic idea I ever seen. Quote

jorgeopesi Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 I don´t know who was the inventor, maybe Sariel in stud version or Nico71 in studless, anyway I am using the version that Nico71 uses in his bulldozers, but smaller. Good question, who was the first whom used that system?. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Yes that is sariel's one picture, Web page link Quote
jorgeopesi Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 Another video, close to be finish... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTteeGrMj-4&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 I think your bulldozer is a bit to fast, how much pushing power does it have? Quote
jorgeopesi Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 I think your bulldozer is a bit to fast, how much pushing power does it have? Two L motors with 12 to 20 gear... I don´t have room for more reduction . Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 (edited) Maybe a pf speed controler may come in handy. Edited January 11, 2012 by Alasdair Ryan Quote
timslegos Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Maybe a pf speed controler may come in handy. Ya what he said. I really like your bulldozer. The functions work really well. If you were to get some hamster bedding sawdust you could bulldoze some fake hills . tim Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Looks great you can't be far off finishing it now. Quote
