Peppermint_M Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 This little chap is my fourth Dragon, the only one decent enough to be posted. While the others used different parts and often look out of proportion, this one is a success. I started playing with my dice and as I worked out what they could do, I got this made. CMP Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 This is a really great little dragon. There are so many ways to interpret them, and I like the distinct 't-rex' feel this one's long legs but stubby arms give off. Though I must say, those are some tiny wings. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I've been trying to come up with ways to do a proper brick built dragon instead of using the Ninjago dragons or heads. Overall, I like this build. Very clever. It shows a good shape overall. I would agree the wings are a bit small for this size, but there are only so many pre-fab wings one can use. The use of the dice is very unique. Keep up the good work. Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Cute or say the dark side of cute 'Peppermint_M', keep them flying ! You really like flying things don't you ? Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 10, 2012 Author Posted January 10, 2012 I am actually working on building some wings out of other parts. The problem I face is that many of them end up too heavy for the body to support. I want to make larger wings without compromising the structure of the body. I have a few more designs to try out today, so maybe by the end of the week I will have a dragon with a more impressive wing span. Quote
Ceroknight Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Great use of those dice! I really like it! Quote
