How do you sort/store?

So I've moved my lego locations, but I have a lot of unsorted bricks. I was hoping y'all could help me out and tell me how you sort your bricks! I currently have drawers about 1ft deep and 3in high labeled 'flats', 'planks', 'bricks', '1x1,1x2,1x3', etc. I also have a jeweler's cupboard(lots of little 2in by 4in deep drawers) for little parts like studs, clips, and minifig accessories. What do you think of this and what do you use?
