I want to thank all of you for all these comments. If effort put into such MOC can pay off in any way, seeing such warm welcome is the one I most like :)

I'll keep you up to date on the progress. There is still a lot to do with the station and with the rest of the train layout. As per below map, the currently presented part is about 40-50% of the planned station infrastructure.

I have no idea how long it will take to finish it. The plan is to have it done till the end of April 2012. For now it's a priority one for me reagrding Lego bricks but I wouldn't be surprised if it will take two or three months longer than I plan to.

One thing is certain - the project could be only bigger since now :)

That is insane. Your budget must be astronomical!

I'll be following the progress on this, that's for sure...

This is just beautiful. I hope you keep posting updates as this grows. Even the freight cars are great models individually. I'm going to try and recreate your crane for my own post WW2 German train yard. It will look great in my coaling facilities.

There must be a strong AFOL community in Poland because what we see coming from there is almost uniformly of the highest standard. Are there Polish forums for those of us who want to spy from afar?

Welcome Maciejd. I'm glad you found us and appreiate Kris Kelvin for sharing your MOC here in Train Tech. We also have a Train Tech Registry for introductions.

Again, this is far more than just a typical LEGO creation, but a complete diorama with some beautiful details. The overall scene is truly impressive.

EDIT: and for your fine creation, I award you an honorary Eurobricks Train Tech tag (seen below your avatar). These are usually won in contests or for special acknowledgment.

What a fantastic build...the attention to detail and the realistic nature...looks brilliant.

I also love the switching tower and and the train shed...again awesome work and very nice lighting effects as well.

Thanks for sharing these with the community and just looking at the pictures provides so many tips and building ideas.

There is a strong AFOL community here in Poland (www.lugpol.pl), but paradoxically I'm not a member of this one :)

I am very happy to see you writing here also. When I saw the first posting here, I went straight to your Flickr account and commented on a couple of your creations. They are all real masterpieces!

Looking forward to further postings from you here... :classic:

This work haunts me. What a beautiful creation. I am considering a big project and something like this inspires me to take the time and do something truly outstanding.

Honestly, that is just breathtaking.

Well it is good to see you posting in our humble little forum anyway, welcome to the boards.

I look forward to see more installments on this masterpiece!
