Jareth Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=493304 Sorry it's just a link. I'm not computer savy enough to upload pictures here. Anyway, the tall roof was the preliminary, I decided that the lower roof looked a lot better. Now I need to work on the interior! Quote
Skinny Boy Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Whoah. This is gonna be amazing when it's done. So many 1x2x2 panels... I'd never have the patience to build a roof like that. What events/games will be held in this beauty? Do keep us posted with updates! And see here on how to post images: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18451 Quote
Batbrick Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Holy heck that's looking good. Love the way the awesome roof doesn't detract from the rest of it. I agree the lower roof looks better, is it very stable? Batbrick Away! Quote
Dakar A Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I agree, awesome roof! The colours just work really well together! I can't wait to see this completed. Dakar Quote

In answer to the question, the interior will have gladitorial games, bench seating, two balcony style box seats (you can see them in blue) a F.O.A.S. concession stand (fleebnork on a stick) and a special seating section for water breathing aliens. Now that I can finally post pictures on bricklink, I do have a few ideas for the first gladiator fight. Oh yeah, thanks for the link, I'm going to give it a try, I just wish I had more time/competence when it came to computers. On 1/6/2012 at 12:16 AM, Batbrick said: Holy heck that's looking good. Although it stands fine on its own, I don't want to put any weight on it at all. OK, lets try deeplinking a picture Ok, I was able to deeplink it, but the image is too big, but I found an article on how to resize it. Edited January 7, 2012 by Jareth Quote
Laura Beinbrech Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Really nice! This MOC could be considered to be the REAL astrodome! Quote
