TalonCard Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Yeah, it's some sort of CP meme that got started waaay back here. I seem to remember him being called Steve way before that, during my Lugnet days. Anybody remember Lugnet? TC Quote
brickbuilder007 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 This one, definitely, I believe he had a name, pete or something like that. His torso is just perfect, he can be used as a pirate, a crew member of an imperial ship, harbor master, captain of a trading ship,... you name it, he's never out of place. Too bad it's a rare minifigure, I believe it only came with the Skull's Eye Schooner and the Imperial Trading Post. Ya my favorite too Im happy that I found this minifig on legoworld Quote
Yawgmoth Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 My all times favorites: pi022, pi053 and pi068 Quote
Zeya Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 It's hard to pick a favorite. But for some reason I have a special attachment to this guy from the 2009/2010 building set: I like how he has a happy smile and an eyepatch. He has a unique face and torso printing (with back printing). He could be a shipwrecked privateer or even an imperial that got lost on an island. Well, okay I guess he has a pirate hat, so that makes him a pirate. I have him on the bridge of my IFS right now. Quote

Captain Heineken Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 What set is this guy actually from? I really like the torso, but can't spot it in any of the 09/10 sets It's from the 6192Pirate Building Set. I bought about 10 torsos of this guy on bricklink. I use the torsos as a fraction of my Bluecoat army. With red epaulettes, blue legs and a black tricorne they're nice-looking soldiers. Quote
Storel Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Ohhhh.... right. Thanks Completely didn't think about that set! (Woo! 10th post) Quote
Zeya Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 did the IFS get captured? Maybe soon. He seems to have infiltrated the upper ranks of the ship. Quote
Dr. Steve Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 My favorite is the classic Imperial Soldier. Same vote here! Don't get me wrong I do like the new red coat, but I love the old blue coat. I hope we get a new blue coat someday. Quote
Laura Beinbrech Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 My favorite one would have to be the one, the only, the original Captain Redbeard: He was one of three minifigs that I saved when I gave away most of the rest of my LEGO during my first Dark Age in High School... After that are all the blue-jacketed Pirate First mates (both new and old), which I'm using as the enlisted/chief petty officer uniforms for the Federal Republic of America Navy. I was really happy when I found out that they were offering the new blue jacket uniforms through Pick A Brick. Quote

Laura Beinbrech Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 They are? You mean this one? No, I was referring to this one: and these somewhat similar ones: Quote
