Javert Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 (edited) hello all I was disappointed by the new Knight Bus set and I preferred the old one but I still felt something was missing. I took as many screen shots as I could but if all goes well I could probably come back with more if you ask me. I tried to give this one a much rounder look and also tried to make a scale replica of the one used in the film but I think it's alright It did have stairs but with the stairs inside it made it too long so I had to take them out, but it still has the Chandelier :) anyway here you go! Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Overall this took about 4 hours to make, I started on the front and worked back. It includes 8 sliding beds but for some reason I can't put them inside Hope you all like EDIT: Sorry! I had no idea there was a size limit for pictures! Won't happen again Edited January 5, 2012 by Javert Oversized images converted in text links Quote
Superkalle Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I'm moving this to Licensed since there is not LXF attached (which would make it interesting to LDD users). Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Nice MOC of the Bus. Very dominating appearance. I actually like the latest version of the Bus, maybe I'm one of the few. But I like your rendition as well. It looks very roomy on the inside. Keep up the good HP MOCs. Quote

SoupOrFishOil Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Nice! I like the original too, like the above poster, and this doesn't look like something LEGO would release, but I'm not complaining. It's great to look at and would have even better parts than the official one. Quote
Ayden Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Both the old and the new have there pros and cons. I'm kicking myself for not picking it up at walmart while it was still on sale. (Curse responsibility!) Quote
B-Lister Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 shouldn't there be a staircase to reach the upper levels? Quote
Javert Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 shouldn't there be a staircase to reach the upper levels? *ahem* It did have stairs but with the stairs inside it made it too long so I had to take them out, but it still has the Chandelier :) because of the curved back wall it was hard to fit the bricks in! was the best I could do Quote
jhc2nmfn Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 did you make that on a computer digitally? Quote
B-Lister Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 *ahem* because of the curved back wall it was hard to fit the bricks in! was the best I could do Sincerest apologies! Completely missed that. Still, like this better than either of TLG's versions, but understand the reasons they did them the way they did. I like certain things about each, but this combines a lot of what I like about both, while changing some of what doesn't. Quote
