Ludzik Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Ok, maybe not a full fledged Legoholic like some others here but I'm getting there..... When I was a kid some moons ago, I loved playing Legos. I had quite a few sets which I have in turn given to my sister so that my nephew could play with them (there is a 13 year difference between her and me and me and him). Anyways, I kept a few small sets for myself and with the exception of purchasing couple small star wars sets (just the micro vehicles) couple years ago I haven't given Lego's much thought. Recently though with other kids in my family getting to the Lego age, I have started looking at getting some for myself and well... in a matter of couple months I got a few of them ;) My main excuse was that everytime there was a buy one get one 50% off I'd get one for myself and one for a gift :D (I have q few gifts stashed ready for upcoming family events). Anyways, my pride and joy is a the red train right now as well as the DK Brickmaster City book :) I got others that are fun as well, but at the moment those are my two favourite ones. In the past, I haven't usually been much for keeping the models built according to the instructions though now I think I found a happy medium... I keep the ones I like close to what the instructions show and others I improve or use for parts :) Also it helps that I live near 5 Lego stores and that I travel on and off to places that have them as well... I think I mastered the ability to max out the 7.99 pick a brick cup with what I want and more :) Quote
