Captain Flint Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 I'm excited about the new Lord of the Rings theme, so I built a scene when Gandalf comes to Hobbiton. Quote
Kayne Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 That is a very cool build! I love that scarecrow. Unfortunately if the official set was had this many pieces, it would be a bit more expensive than the Gandalf arrives set is supposed to be. But it would be worth the money to me to ahve this much in the set! Quote
de Gothia Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 REally nice setup!! I just love that crow! I might have to borrow that idea!! The bridge with the vegetation is also super! Great work!! Quote
JackJonespaw Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Nice scene! Is that Frodo or a random Hobbit fishing? Quote
Saruman the White Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 It's a shame this isn't the official set. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Nice little set. I also like the scarecrow for sure. The cart is well built and I like the vegetation surrounding the bridge. Keep up the good MOCs. Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Excellent design 'Captain Flint', great bridge, banks of the stream and that scarecrow with a not so scared bird is a huge True, that the official version of this scene won't be as detailed, but we have yours to model our own on eh ? Brick On 'Captain Flint' ! Quote
Brickmamba Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 very nice, a lot whole better than the preliminary pics so far, just need some fireworks in the back to round the whole look off Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Great moc! The bridge is really good with the flowers, and the brick-made-bird is nicely done! Quote
