kalinatek Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Hello everybody, first i would like to introduce myself. I am kalinatek from germany. I spend my whole childhood playing with LEGO of all different lines. From this thime I still own mostly all of the sets of Balck Knights and Royal Knights. Lately I focused on castle and knights, due to the great Kingdoms Line (picked up the Royal Joust two days ago - simply great!) If I look at this board and the pictures, I see some great creations. So i'd like to contribute to this board with my first castle. I spent endless hours in my basement building this piece of architecture. I am not into lots of mocs. I'd like to focus more on one project and make it as good as possible with the material I own. My goal was always to create a historical accurate castle. So here it is : http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=492537 Thanks for watching and reading kalinatek Quote

Skipper Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Welcome to Eurobricks! You've got a great castle Kalinatek. It looks exactly how I would imagine the Black Knight's Castle to look in minifig scale (especially the gatehouse ), you've captured the grandeur of the original design perfectly and the colorscheme works wonderfully here. The baseplate is well integrated into the structure, and the secret entrance is a nice homage to the original. Quote
