dwarf-brik Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Does anyone on here know what kind of fabric Lego uses for making capes/other cloth accessories? I have wanting to make some of my own custom robes and such for a project I am working on, but I cannot seem to find the right kind of fabric. Really wanting to use the stuff Lego uses as well, just so the project looks more "official". Thanks! Quote
Modulex Guy Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 I Would also like to know this too, I have seen custom capes for sale before, but nothing that I would need, I want to know the type of fabric as well. All I know that it is a type of resin re-enforced fabric, but that is as much as I know. Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 You can get close to it if you buy some thin cloth and dip it in a white glue/water solution (I think Mod Podge makes a product specifically for this). Quote

Any idea what mixture it should be? 1:1? 2:1? Or just a general "toss some glue in and see what happens"? Quote
