And FYI, the ARC is the red ARC that appeared for about a second at one point, named "Hammer". And yes, the ARF is based on the one from Kamino, but with it's "Mercy Mission" look. Quote

Mr Man was misinterpreting the quote, since Capt. Dan had been talking about the ARF, not the ARC. However, the ARF could very well be from Rancor Battalion; this one. It looks like it to me. What I can't understand is why Wookieepedia never mentions Hammer anywhere, since the ARC clearly is him. Actually, they do, but not as Hammer. Wonder where that name comes from. Quote

Certain names are listed here. I don't know whether this is the source of the name or whether the correctness of the names was given as granted. Edited December 30, 2011 by Brickadeer Quote
Mr Man Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Oops two red pauldrons its Unidentified ARC Trooper or apparently Hammer. I hope we get Colt, Blitz, and Havoc soon. Quote

Me too, but Colt and Havoc are unlikely as they are dead. Most likely we'll get Echo and Fives later on. Hopefully TLG will make more Kamino sets as well, I would love to see a Trident-class assault craft. Quote

Cad Bane snapped that guy's neck! Or Even Piell, who is coming in the summer sets. More ARC troopers could certainly get made, but it's still way more likely that it will be Fives in an Umbara-related set. Quote

Well, I'm hoping for a Gunship with Krell, Rex, 2 other Clones, a walker and an Umbaran soldier to make in an Umbara-related set. Anyway, I wonder if we'll see any further 1.5 clones. I don't think it's very likely, but time will tell. Quote

pedro Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 I bought two of this battle pack yesterday and I've got to agree that the minifigures are some of the best I've seen. The ARF and ARC are lovely, superbly detailed and the amount of accessories supplied means you can easily retro-fit a dark red themed clone army. But I also really like the commando battle droids - their colour and details in sculpt and print just work really well. Standing problems still abound though and I wish that battle droids in general had legs like LEGO skeletons. The cannon is okay for a miniature take on the AV-7. I actually combined my 2 into a larger (and slightly) more accurate version but I imagine I'll end up using it for parts. The only battle pack vehicles that have been a win (and kept in their entirety) for me are the last version of the BARC speeder and the trike-hulled speeder bikes - these were pretty cool considering the designer's constraints. As with all battle packs though, it's all about the minifigures and this one's definitely recommended. Quote
Davor Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Top stuff. Only thing I don`t like is again using this new version of blaster pistol , since older pistol is accurate representation of DC-17 hand blaster used by GAR. Quote
lego envy Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Nice review ,but this set doesn't do anything for me. Quote
Vindicare Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Come on mutley, it's been five pages and no picture of at least 20 BPs . Just messing, but I can't wait to see the updated army picture with these bad a**es in it. Quote
Plissken Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I bought this set today. It's really nice, the cannon is cool and I like the inclusion of 5 1x3 tiles. Good part selection The Minifigs are great, too. The Arc is plain awesome. Only downer of this set is the price raise. It's really hard to swollow. Quote
