I really wish I had gotten cafe corner and such back in the day. I'm really kicking myself because I did buy a cafe corner, and give it to a friend for christmas. anyways, any recommendations for building my own versions of cafe corner, marketstreet, and green grocer? I don't want to pay the insane ebay/bricklink prices for these. any color swaps i could do on bricklink that still look really good?

I'm not sure how best to word your searching. You may have to dig a bit, but they're worth it. I believe some made Market Street for around the two hundred mark... Anyways, yeah...do some searching, someone will probably come along who can point you in a better direction than me.
