gearcs Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 A hord of bandits broke into daimyo's garden. They came to kill him and steal his armor, which is believed to be undestroyable and miraculous. Daimyo's bodyguard is prepared to give his life for him... Brickshelf gallery Flickr gallery Quote
Larrynautik Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Fantastic japanese medieval MOC full of details, it's a real art Quote
de Gothia Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 (edited) Just brilliant! I made a comment over att Flickr but this build is so good it deserves as many comments as possible! As I said at Flickr that tree is so real! The house is also very well built and it took me a while to realize that those brown and white door and window was bruckbuilt! But no moc can beat your Elm castle or Annin... those are epic to me! Edited December 25, 2011 by de Gothia Quote
trooper 278 Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 (edited) OK anyway great built Edited December 25, 2011 by trooper 278 Quote
De Sandman Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 What a magnificent scene, all those stunning details, the roofs, the paper doors/windows, the bridge, tree and so on and so on...., you did an outstanding job . Your castle moc's are also amazing! Quote
Cecilie Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 That's an amazingly great build! You've captured so many fantastic details in this. And the scene is so lively. I like how you've posed the guy in green so it looks like he's just drawn his katana. And your bonsai trees are excellent! Everything is so well thought out. Smekám, je tu tolik komplikovaných vÄ›cà tak úžasnÄ› vyÅ™eÅ¡eno že můžu Å™Ãct jen: skvÄ›lá práce! Please keep your comments in english on an international forum. Quote
MikeyB Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Incredible! Love the details of this build. some many good solutions and ideas! Quote
Corydoras Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 This is OUTSTANDING. As a builder constantly trying to create something based on asian architecture myself (without success), I nearly came seeing this MOC. I must say I'm surprised how well the bottom part of Elisabeth's dress works with the Samurai torso... Quote
Khorne Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 That's incredible! I saw it on flickr yesterday, but I didn't have time to comment. I LOVE it . It's so pack with detail! The minifigs are great and you can really feel the tension/action going on in the scene. The stairs are one of my favorite bits, I like the method you used to mottle them, I haven't seen that done before. Really, really, great MoC ! Quote
gearcs Posted December 26, 2011 Author Posted December 26, 2011 Thank you all very much! It's necessary to say that I have red several books about bonsai and asian gardens. Without this basics I wouldn't be able to make so many details :) Quote
-obelix- Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Incredible Japanese medieval scene! The details and solutions all around the garden scenery are absolutely stunning! Quote
Peanuts Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 That MOC is really amazing, I especially love the roofs and the various ornaments. The scenery looks also pretty neat and it's so full of details. Also like the way you posed the minifigs. Is there an interior to that house as well? Quote
Silver.Smith Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I saw this on Classic-Castle a couple weeks ago and was simply stunned by the amount of detail. Quote
zed0 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 This is incredible! I love all the details as well as the overall feel, 10/10! I like that you've gone for a less regular shape rather than making it fit on a baseplate like most MOCs do. Is that bridge just held by semi connecting the pieces or is there some structure below keeping it together? Quote
