Solde Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Greetings, I am new, I'm from Spain, I hope you like the post that I will be getting. I have seen that people liked, 12-valve engine, here I leave the boxer: Lego Technic Boxer Turbo Engine by Solde Search in youtube. I can´t post a url yet. Quote
allanp Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 (edited) I like seeing engines run this fast as it is more realistic and sounds great too (stupid PF motors with their stupid down gearing, grrr!). However I would not say that it's running at 6000 RPM as the motors are slowed down alot due to the load placed on them turning the engine so fast. Edited December 15, 2011 by allanp Quote
DLuders Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 One could borrow a Timing Light from a local auto repair business, color one of the Technic links "white", and then use the Timing Light's strobe feature to determine the Revolutions-Per-Minute (RPMs). Quote
DLuders Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Solde/ Solde1 has upgraded his Lego Dual Over-Head Cam (DOHC) Boxer Engine to now operate with 16 VALVES ( ): Quote
