Loggii Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Hey guys, just thought I would share this MOC with you all. I love diesel electrics, especially the american styled cargo locomotives, so when the Maersk came around the kid in me came out and I splurged and bought three sets. However, while I love the GP40 styled locomotive I wanted a GE AC6000, I never did MOCs when I was younger, I liked to keep the models as is, but decided I would convert one of the three Maersk locomotives I had, its not perfect, but here it is. The idea behind this was to use as many parts from the original Maersk locomotive as possible, due to the fact that I'm in medical school I don't have time to go through the massive bins of Lego that I have. Please feel free to critique (any suggestions on how to fix the headlights while allowing for LEDs would be great lol). I plan on refining it over the holidays such as the headlights (so that they're one on top of the other) and the fuel tank. Link: GE AC6000 Quote

Loggii Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 I tried, kept coming up with an error, so I made the mocpages account Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 I recommend you create a FlickR or Majhost.com account. Both are free and you can post your images immediately. Once you have an image link, you simply use [ img]image link[ /img]. Note: no spaces within the brackets []. Quote
Loggii Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) Oook, inserting image doesn't seem to work either, linking to my flickr account and getting the response "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board." I've edited the first post with a link to the flickr page. Edited December 13, 2011 by Loggii Quote
Snapshot Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 You need to copy the HTML/BBCode from Flickr <a href=" title="DSCN0206 by Andrew G. L., on Flickr"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7006/6503350549_e65957ef49_z.jpg"'>http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7006/6503350549_e65957ef49_z.jpg" width="640" height="480" alt="DSCN0206"></a> and edit it to get just the .jpg link http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7006/6503350549_e65957ef49_z.jpg Use the 'insert image' button and there you go Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Just make sure your link ends with a .jpg and you should be fine. I edited your initial post adding the first picture. Quote
