Been a while since I posted here in EB, I do wish I had more time for my Lego life.

Wow, that was long, sorry eh, any ways, to honour the convention and it's managers I did this on LDD. The Event kit was my theme here and the story behind the creation.

Thanks for the kind words Brickers, though I am a little perplexed, could anyone tell me how this topic ended up here, I posted in LDD forum first, just wondering eh?

@ legodac: The Eurobricks Digital Designer Forum's moderator moved it from that forum's topic list because you can only post there if you provide the Lego Digital Designer (LDD) .lxf file also. Since you posted a LDD screen shot, they treated it like a regular photograph and moved your Santa's Rein-Moose to the most-appropriate forum (LEGO Town).

The LDD Index Thread says "Any MOCs done in LDD that belong to a specific theme (e.g. Pirates, Star Wars etc) should be posted in that forum." If you provide your LDD .lxf file, you can add it to the MOC LXF Index. Be sure to read the instructions there.

Thanks DLuders, Though I know it's no ones problem but my own, I am 49 and not to great at PC stuff yet, though I do have a passion for Lego, to put it mildly.

Is there a link someone could provide that would instruct me how to do that, provide an lxf. file that is. If you recall, I entered a contest here some months ago and had the same problem. The contest was to re-design a Lego Duck on LDD, using only those pieces.

@ Legodac: You could add the LDD .lxf file for your Santa's Rein-Moose to your Brickshelf gallery. Then, follow these steps:

1. Right-click on the file and copy/paste the URL. For your existing Challenge file that's already there, the URL string looks like this (without the "http://" in front so that you can see the entire character string here):

www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legodac/Challenge/thumb/7270_-_pieces.lxf_thumb.jpg

2. Now, delete certain characters referring to the "thumb" in two places, so that the character string looks like this (again, without the "http://" for clarity here):

www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legodac/Challenge/7270_-_pieces.lxf

3. Add the "http://" to the www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legodac/Challenge/7270_-_pieces.lxf string above, then copy the URL into the "Insert Link" button when you "Reply" to a topic. The "Insert Link" button is just to the right of the "smiley-face" icon on the Reply menu bar.

4. If everything goes correctly, here's an example hyperlink to your existing LDD .lxf file: LDD File. You can right-click on the link and check the "Properties" to see the URL imbedded there.

P.S. If you don't want to wait for your new LDD .lxf file to "Become Public" (with Brickshelf moderation), you can "Deeplink" your file using the procedure here. Although YOU can see your own files anytime, other people may have to wait 2-3 days before the Brickshelf moderators approve the file to be made "public."

Thanks DLuders, I appreciate your time in helping me. I do have a BrickShelf account, though I haven't used it much, I found it a little confusing. Guess if I want to continue sharing I better learn. Thanks again pal, your efforts won't go to waste.
