dhc6twinotter Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Good looking tractor! Nice amounts of functions in such a small space too. Quote

GuiliuG Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Thanks Ddulers for the post ! I usually feature myself my creations but this time, I do not find any time to do such a presentation. Actually, I finished the model two months ago and it took me approximativly all this time just to make the video. So, you have probably already seen my fastrac when I published some pictures of it in my brickshelf galery. I'm very pleased by the way this model turned out, because it looks very similar to the real one, what was my goal when designing the model. As some people have noticed, the 12-speeds gearbox was not really necessary to the playability of the model and adds a lot of parts to the finished model but I consider that it was a real challenge which has provided me a lot of fun. Ohters people have criticized the front and rear independants suspensions because they compress as soon as we use the pump but once again, the peculiarity of this tractor is the independant suspension and it was impossible for me not to integrate it in my tractor. If you have any questions, I will be very happy to answer to them. In a near futur ( two months, more?^^) I will post some pictures of the frame ( yes, I will quickly disassemble it^^). Thanks all and sorry for my bad english ! Quote
grohl Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 LEGO version differs in some details, but I think it looks even better. Quote
andythenorth Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Nice Working suspension - I couldn't figure out how to fit that into my fastrac http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=310890 Quote
GuiliuG Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Ah, it's yours. I saw it when shearching for some others fastrac lego creation ( to get inspiration^^). I thought that I had to build a fastrac with a polyvalent rear arm in three or four years^^. Quote
