medib Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Hi, I've been busy with LDD the last couple days, much to the wifey's (quiet) displeasure. Here is what the fire station looks like in real life: Here is how the front looks like (there are a couple of things missing, such as the "glass bulbs" on the lights, the bay doors, and the grey arches at the back of the station, should be black, but I was using LDD without the universe mode...) The rest of the pics, showing each of the rest of the sides is in the folder: Brickshelf Station6 Folder Enjoy. I had fun "building" it virtually. Especially when I had to "tear it down" and move the one side forward. The building is like 48x48 with an additional 6x12 (modular add-on) for the electrical room. Each bay is 8 studs wide, 10 studs high, and should be long enough even for an extra long Aerial Truck (around 40 studs). If you were to order this from lego, it would cost around $500, and there are 500 steps on the insructions. Ben M. Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Interesting fire station 'medib', that's a lot of brown 2x1 grille bricks eh ? A brick-built one would be perfect for next year's new forest fire fighting vehicles. Brick On 'medib' ! Quote
