Problems with smal air pump function

Best EB Members,

I have made a new power function on my Unimog firetruck at the front and yoused the small air cilinder and some times he works and than he don't work, i check al the hoses and the are leak free.I think mayby the small pump or the cilinder is leaking, has somebudy a idea too fiks it.

Mine sometimes sticks too,I got a replacement from Lego but its much the same,try some silicone oil spray!

Thanks David, you think the oil stops the leaking from the cilinders.

I've never had any problem's with my small pump although I bought mine on ebay and it had some greasy stuff (properly silicone oil spray) on it and I have not yet used it in any model.

I have a few that don't work very well. I bought them on bricklink. I think I bought one on ebay too.

I have become very weary of buying pneumatic stuff on bricklink, ebay, or anywhere else online. IMHO, LEGO Education is the best place for pneumatics.
