Stab Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Hi!! I just wanted to share the LEGO Christmas tree that me and my girlfriend "build"!! Merry Christmas everyone! Quote
-zenn Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 (edited) Kewl idea! Makes me wanna do it as well, but with those chromed/gold bricks... But would probably be a expensive tree that way. Anyway, lovely x-mas tree you got there! Edited December 8, 2011 by -zenn Quote

lorax Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Very cool. We have just ordered a bunch of those clear baubles you can open. Our plan is to also do our tree Lego themed this year, so I might steal some of your ideas. Quote
Leela Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 That is such a great idea and your Christmas tree looks wonderful ! I like how colorful it is and I just love the apple hanging at the bottom, reminds me of real apples on the Christmas tree I used to hang as a kid. I'm so stealing the idea, I've got a small tree in my room, last year it was HelloKitty-fied and I'm sure my tree would rather be LEGO-fied Happy Holidays! Quote
lorax Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Here is the start of our tree. We bought some craft baubles for Lego figures and I made Clikits tinsel Baubles and Clikits TInsel by tikitikitembo, on Flickr And our star Lego Star by tikitikitembo, on Flickr Quote
Stab Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 thank you everyone!! feel free to "steal" ideas! have a nice holiday!!! ps. very nice work lorax! maybe next year i get a bigger tree!! Quote
GhostFan Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 That's some great decorating by both Stab and Lorax! Love the baubles containing the little models. When I saw the title I wondered if it was going to be a link to the one that ENORMOUS one that had been built at St Pancras Station in London! Quote
Steverd Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 LOVE the Christmas tree. Your girlfriend is very talented. Quote
Miss Kyle Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) We made a star this year, too. but since my collection isn't that big, it looks pretty crappy :D It's a very fragile construction, and it fell off the tree at least three times over the holidays. lorax, I simply love your star! Do you still have it? I'd love to see how you connected the, how do you call it? Beams? And, even more important, how did you put it on the tree? Edited January 9, 2012 by Miss Kyle Quote
