SpokaneSteve Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Hello all: My brother and I are building a layout and we wanted to develop powered turnouts. We saw the turnout challenge in Railbricks, reverse engineering challenge #8. We worked on this and came up with a robust solution. We email this to Railbricks but haven't heard back. Does anyone know of a good contact email? Thanks PS If we don't' hear from Railbricks soon I will put up our solution here. I have even built a smaller version. Thanks, Steve. Quote
Duq Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I've emailed my solution to challenge[at]railbricks.com. The guys do have a day job so you won't get a reply the same day but they will eventually get back to you. The next issue may well be appearing some time into the new year, so you need to be patient... Quote
JopieK Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I hope to receive a couple of linear actuators with memory wire today, hope they can be used in LEGO. I had some previous experiences with other memory wire and it was to unreliable for LEGO, but have good hopes of this solution. HAs nothing to do with Railbricks (at least not right now), but is ontopic for the issue with points etc. Quote

If you don't receive a reply, you can email it to editor[at]railbricks.com as well. I generally try to check that account at least once a week. This is also a good time for me to put in a request for articles. If anyone would like to contribute an article to the magazine, please email the text, photos, etc. to the editor address as well. We're always on the lookout for material, and enjoy including articles from our readers. -Elroy Quote
