PenetratorNL Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 hello, i registered some time ago, but now its time to introduce myself. My name is Dave, 28 years old, i have a kid who is almost 2, and we are from The Netherlands. A couple of weeks ago i picked up my old LEGO from the addict of my parents, and started building again. I found some instructions (i've lost the most of them) and i just completed the 7715 push along train, with the 7745 12v motor to circle my Christmas-tree later on. I also start with the build of the 7745, without motor now, but i'm planning to convert them all to Power-functions because i only have an oval of 12v track and nothing more. I do have another train of the 4.5v/12v era, according to the pieces i've found. Unfortunately i wasn't very careful with my Lego when i was little, so i'm missing some parts, i miss 4 train doors from the 7745, a couple of red train wheels from the 7715, and all of the wires. also 2 of the red and black panels are missing from the 7745. the train-wheels aren't that of a problem because the plan of conversion, but i didn't found a "train-wheel kit" anywhere? how do u guys get spare or new parts? well, i think thats all for now :-) greetings from Holland Dave Quote
-zenn Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 welcome and enjoy the boards. I get most of my parts from Bricklink, it's sort of a -lego only- Marketplace. Quote

badboytje88 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Hi and welcome, it's always nice to see a new Dutch guy on this board. For questions feel free to send me a pm in Dutch. Quote
PenetratorNL Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 (edited) thnx for the reply's :-) my 7715 is ready and tested on a circle of 12v track, the rubber bands where still on the wheels when i got my lego here at home, but after a few rounds around the track, the rubber bands where gone, just completely dried out over the years. my 7745 is half way done, (passenger wagon done, Loc for 75% done, and diner car not build yet) but already standing proudly in the book-case next to the 7715 :p if the PF conversion is complete, my next goal is to build a dutch NS loc, which one i don't know yet Edited December 9, 2011 by PenetratorNL Quote
