KeepLeft Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Hi, from South Africa, I have been lurking for the past month and have been amazed and at times intimidated by some of the creations I have seen. I recently got back into Lego after visiting the Lego store in Westfields in London (on holiday) and when I got home I unpacked my 80's Lego (just blocks, old windows, roof tiles and some classic space). Since then I have added two trains (city and emerald night) as well as some other sets. I now have a whole city planned in my head and with all the inspiration I have seen on the board it keeps getting more grandiose. Will post pics once I get the hang of it. Quote
Horry Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Hey KeepLeft and welcome to Eurobricks! I'm sure you will like it here. I can understand your mixed feelings as I started here with some old Lego from my childhood and nothing but admiration for many of the MOCs presented here - But it is a friendly place and the folks around here will be more then willing to give you feedback and help you improve. Have fun! Quote
KeepLeft Posted December 2, 2011 Author Posted December 2, 2011 Thanks for the words of encouragement, I think the biggest challenge is to create intricate constructions with the basic blocks. Quote
