Steiney Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 (edited) Amateur, I know. But I had to share. I wish I knew her name, a wonderful artist who Custom made these Star Trek TOS minifigs. I bought them from her at BrickWorld 2011 in Fort Wayne, IN. Edited December 2, 2011 by Steiney Quote
Xyver Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 To make it truly accurate, you need some redshirts lying dead on the ground. Quote
Steiney Posted December 2, 2011 Author Posted December 2, 2011 HAHA, yes I wish I would have picked up a few now lol Quote
Xyver Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Its just a shame that Lego never got into Star Trek, with all the cool ships over the years (not to mention the huge cult following) they would have done really well. Quote
Steiney Posted December 2, 2011 Author Posted December 2, 2011 I would imagine that Paramount would've been too dumb to realize the marketing opportunities, given their past (almost) anti-fan policies at times. Quote
dr_spock Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Who is that at upper right hand corner of the first pic? Quote
Horry Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Who is that at upper right hand corner of the first pic? probably Charly, Khan, Kor - or all three of them as part of a disguise from Garth of Izar! Come to think of it - this is one of the few good possibilities of using the costume-minifig - great idea! Quote
Steiney Posted December 2, 2011 Author Posted December 2, 2011 Oh the legs? That is a Sherlock Holmes minifig. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 (edited) I would imagine that Paramount would've been too dumb to realize the marketing opportunities, given their past (almost) anti-fan policies at times. They actually did issue a Star Trek construction toys license, at least once, several years ago... to Mega Bloks. They did a set of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. Of course, I'm sure people at this forum would agree giving the license to MB is pretty anti-fan, indeed (to AFOLs at least, if not Trekkers as well). Edited December 2, 2011 by Blondie-Wan Quote
Steiney Posted December 2, 2011 Author Posted December 2, 2011 Yeah, but who wants mega blocks? not me Quote
KeepLeft Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Those are really cool mini-figs, I agree that there should be a Star Trek theme, at the moment I am considering buying one or two Star Wars sets but only because there are no Star Trek ones.(I need to get my sci-fi fix somewhere.) Quote

The Millenium Falcon is a wonderful kit, it was my first Star Wars set, very satisfying build. Quote
KeepLeft Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 The Millenium Falcon is a wonderful kit, it was my first Star Wars set, very satisfying build. I was thinking of buying the Millenium Falcon but I love the look of the Imperial Shuttle. I cannot decide which, though I also want to buy some small Pharaoh sets to create something from Stargate. The pyramids and Anubis type minfigs would work well. Quote
