lightningtiger Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 (edited) After finishing New Mannum, I had the itch to start another little town layout.....so I now give you a XL-BYG BYGGECENTER, XL-BYG are similar to Mitre 10 in Oz and Home Depot in the US. They appear to have mostly now big box stores, but I have found at least one in a town street in Stubbekøbing, but I choose to have my own take on a Legoised Danish hardware store. I still have to add the pitched roof and merchandise into it, I'll update it when I have done so. Comments and of course suggestions please feel free to post. Edit No.1 Still have even more work to do yet.....I keep updating when I can. Edit No.2 The Roof is on and only now a minifig plus tool wheels are needed....oh, I guess some plants by the side wall might help too ! Updating tomorrow morning (Adelaide time). Edit No.2 Trying to find suitable of reference images is tough....closest one so far.... Edited December 1, 2011 by lightningtiger Quote
Dakar A Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Nice LT! This must be built to fit in with the City-style building sysem (construction site, bank and money transfer). Because if this was to go with a modular... Great job! Dakar Quote

Aether Fox Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 I like the pieces you used for the tool racks! Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 2, 2011 Author Posted December 2, 2011 I like the pieces you used for the tool racks! Thanks 'Aether Fox' they are similar to what used used in a garage set from the late 70's. Anyway, this creation will be expanded to a shed style with a small window and door frontage....plus similar detailing as in my other hardware store creations.....now to find Danish hardware branded products to Legoise and Tigerise !
