Norro Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Does the music inspire you as well? Music is very good at adding scale to somethig (or is that just me?) God Bless, Nathan Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted September 28, 2006 Author Posted September 28, 2006 Definately, I agree. Have any other movies inspired you to build a specific scene/theme? Quote
Norro Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 Have any other movies inspired you to build a specific scene/theme? To be honest: no. LOTM is the only one I can think of... though the others listed often make me feel creative (even in a very different discipline.) God Bless, Nathan Quote
Lord Beckett Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 This topic comes to life again... :-D I'm indeed often inspired by cinema for my MOCs (for instance Starship Troopers for my Galaxy at War theme) but as we speak of Historic MOCs I was mostly inspired by Gladiator (using mostly armors and torsos from the Castle and Ninja lines) and like some of you, by The Mummy and The Mummy Returns (using Prof. Lightning's torso, a bandana from WW and brown legs to create my O'Connell minifig). Now, it is quite obvious my Pirates creations have been inspired by the POTC movies. :-P Quote
