Thanks 'De Sandman' and 'CptMugwash' for your comments, click here if you want to see this phone in a setting in

My Danish Village.

Oh, I forgot yesterday to add that it was a SNOT built phone using hinges to get the angle of the keypad right plus an add bonus the gap in the hinge piece acts as a coin/money return slot.

The pay phone is very well built, but it seems a little bit out of scale... The minifig could hide inside it. But I know it's no use to try and keep the scale of town in proportion. Lego is the first at fault by creating a telephone handset that is half the length of a minifig, i.e. nearly a metre long in real life!

Wow, stop. Not that fast... Sorry, but I can't keep up with all your MOC's.

But I must say I like this one. It looks a bit big, yes. But still, scale isn't everything. And it is a great addition to your town.

Thanks 'alois' and 'Man with a hat' for your comments, scale in Lego is always weird...either it's too small or too large, I then remember it's a childs toy and that telephone receiver might have been designed for Fabuland I think ?

Now for those who want to see the inspiration shot for the phone itself......Betalingstelefon.jpg

As you might have already seen.....my change in plan pay phone....booth.

Finally I have stickered it (but I'm not happy with the red my printer produces....fine tuning required on MS paint  ).

This classic red phone booth is totally cool and the near red mail box is a great touch!

The red booth looks great, but the busstop besides that looks interesting. Love the way you used those hinge windows like that. Nice work! :classic:

Thanks '-zenn' for your comments, footnote - TDC is Denmark's own Telstra/Telecom.
