I'm surprised Jek Porkins hasn't got more votes, what's wrong with you people  . He's middle aged, overweight and looks like the comic-book-guy on The Simpsons, he's clearly a nerd, a nerd who flies an X-Wing!!!

Has anyone noticed that Jek's torso does not have any weight to it? Or is it possibly preliminary? That would be so much fun to have.

As we get closer to 2012 I am actually the most excited for that ARC trooper, I am curious as to what his pauldron and kama actually look like outside of Lego released pictures. It is good to see they have improved from that horrid plastic mold armor that looks nothing like it was supposed to.

I changed my vote from the ARC trooper to the new Obi-Wan. As mu has the ARC is an amazing fig, and by far the best CW yet, but the old ROTS Obi-Wan has always been my favourite Obi-Wan fig, so to see him have an update, which is very much needed, is really great. Now all we need is a new non-CW version of Dooku, Yoda, and new AOTC Obi-Wan and Anakin and I will be happy!

I voted for the Arc trooper because the detail is just awesome which makes it a great looking fig and I also voted for queen Amidala it's about time we get a fig of her.

I voted for the new sandtrooper, although I really like Ceremonial Leia, the R5 droids and the Death Star Troopers as well. I'm really excited to collect these, I have 2 sets down, the rest yet to go...

The summer wave has the best minifigs ever! So many new, awesome guys to get, I'm seriously going to be in financial trouble... I voted for Darth malgus, a truly amazing figure as the FBTB photos show, it really makes me see the potential for a new Darth Vader figure. It was a tight match, with the Amidala figure almost as great, not to mention Leia Boussh and the Boba Fett redesign. I'm in minifig heaven right now!

I voter for Obi Wan(ROTS) because not that it's some incredibly detailed action figurish minifig, but because it resembles Evan McGregor PERFECTLY. It is a really great figure.

But it was a tie between him, new Boba Fett, Leia Boushh, S.Crumb, new Gunray and Amidala.

I picked R5-D8 and Jabba :classic:

Also, why is Salacious Crumb listed as a re-design?

...and Leia, surely Boushh is a first time release and Darth 'Shirtless' Maul needs to be added to the poll

I voted for Nute Gunray. He's jsut perfect! And I love how he has sand green skin instead of light gray this time around!

I also voted for Luke.(Jedi) His torso is very realistic. Only, I wish there was leg printing. Oh well.

I voted for the Sandtrooper and Jabba.

The Sandtrooper looks more iconic than the ARC Trooper. Both the design and the printing of the helmet of the Sandtrooper look better than the design of the helmet of the ARC Trooper. The printing of the ARC helmet seems to be more accurate, but that's due to the fact that the mold lacks certain details of the mold of the Sandtrooper helmet ("mouth", black dotts of the "breathing tubes").

While I'm rather pleased with the Sandtrooper's pauldron design, I cannot say the same of the ARC Trooper: I'm quite underwhelmed by how the combination of pauldron and armor was realized, and I don't think that the solution works for other figures, e.g. Commander Colt or Captain Rex.

So while my first impression was that the ARC Trooper could serve pretty well as a Christmas Tree for Santa Yoda, I do no longer think that it's really that bad. Actually, I find that it's a pretty good minifigure that looks best if it's combined with a couple of plain clones. But I cannot understand why so many people are so enthusiastic about it.

In the second category, I voted for Jabba, although it can hardly be called a minifigure.

I voted for an R5 unit and Queen Amidala, I expect her to win in a landslide. Probably one of the most anticipated figures from the PT. I love all the redesigns that have occured for the summer wave, but she's the best. I won't buy the Gungan Sub for her, she'll be purchased separately.

Darth Maul , just because it's Darth Maul, if it has the same face as the last one () I'll just swap it for one of the previous versions.

Please can you add Lobot to the list as we now have a nice photo of him (link here):wub::wub:

No prizes for who I'm going to be voting for....! I'm still waiting for the UCS version

R5-D8 and Darth Malgus for sure! Finally we have a new Astromech head piece, and thankfully one for arguably the second most famous Astromech! And Darth Malgus just looks BA with his chest piece. I am dying for that Sith Fighter set, but alas it's too expensive for me :cry_sad:

I voted Death Star Trooper for the available sets and Sith Trooper for the summer wave. Both minifigs are spectacular in my opinion and I'll try to get as many of those as possible. It's not like I have a special project planned for them, but they'd look gooooood in great numbers!
