It is meant to blend in with a desert environment, so I don't think purple would be a good idea. It would ,however, be a good complementary color otherwise.

Awesome! I really like the colour combination, and the arms and legs are really nice too.

That looks fantastic, really like some primeval desert monster. The mottled light/dark tan is great, this thing would be really well camouflaged.

Only suggestion is that it needs some heavy weaponry, though maybe it just rips things apart with those massive arms.
