JWSLegoMaster Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Hey guys! Joe again, and i have a decal here. I was hoping someone could tell me what i've been doing wrong? Thanks, Joe Quote
K-Nut Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I think you need to fill us in before we can tell you what's wrong. Is there a certain look you're shooting for? Quote
LuxorV Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Could you please give us a better insight on your 'problem'? Did you design the decal yourself, or is it a re-colour/mod of a decal made by someone else? What program did you use? I see there is some inconsistency with the greens on the back design, as there are some darker rectangles on the slightly lighter torso base. Is that your issue? Quote
JWSLegoMaster Posted November 27, 2011 Author Posted November 27, 2011 Thanks guys, there is not really a look i'm going for, i am just wondering what you all thought. I use the sample tool, and i probably had a bad sample of the greens. i'm really just working ov a medieval/colonial village for christmas, and im using decals for the minifigs, because i dont have many castle sets. Thanks for the help Joe Quote
legomonk Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 its less medieval more colonial looks like a Napoleonic uniform. Quote
JWSLegoMaster Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 its less medieval more colonial looks like a Napoleonic uniform. lol. yea it does, but the last castles were on malta in the 1500-1590's. that was the ottoman/npoleonic era yes? this was just my little testout. thanks for the feedback Quote
(Dutch) Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Hi, The collar seems to me a bit long I'd suggest shorting it. Also I know that you are just starting out, but I would recommend switching over from paint to Inkscape which is free by the way. -Dutch Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 lol. yea it does, but the last castles were on malta in the 1500-1590's. that was the ottoman/npoleonic era yes? I like the decals, except the green inconsistency. Also Napoleon wasn't in that time period. He was during the Louisiana Purchase, which was at around the 1800's. Good job though. Quote
