I had some time to do this simple 'scene' today. All photos were edited in Photoshop only to resize and adjust in Curves.

1. Only the middle-ground in focus: (Forestman with the brown hat)

Your photos look good Doc. I would like to see the out-of-focus areas a bit more blurred but with your figures so close together, this might be impossible (depending on lens and camera you are using) without editing.

I am happy to :thumbup: on part one and I look forward to seeing your photos for part two.

Okay, thanks. For now, I'm just using the all-purpose 18-55mm lens that came with the entry-level Nikon D3100.
