Alasdair Ryan Posted November 29, 2011 Author Posted November 29, 2011 I am glad you like it,the way the boom works when raising and lowering is realy cool i hope you can see that in the video. Quote
matias bendtsen Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 (edited) did you made other attachments to it, or is it just the shovel? Its a shame lego do not make a '6' axle with stop as you can see from the boom La fixing's,a 5.5 with stop was not enough. if you put 3 half bushes inside the mini la together with the gear wheel the la's cant slide off, as they might would as it is now. trekman Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 A couple of years ago I had a go at building one of the Manitou MRT telehandlers. Manitou MRT handler I managed to get the 3 stage boom, with remote working forks, front and rear stabilisers - that would lift the weight of the vehicle, four wheel steering with four wheel drive and a pneumatic boom. Needless to say that I learned a lot from building that one. It is worth a try, but not for the faint hearted. Quote
timslegos Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 More detail shots of the side of the loader, to see the arm in particular. tim Quote
