I have a friend heading to NYC (actually there now) and was wondering if there is anything available at the Lego Store there that would be worth the effort of them going there and grabbing for me? I've done picture and video searches but they leave a bit to be desired (as well as taunting me with their shots of well-stocked carousels and large current sets too big to ask someone to slip into a suitcase!) - hence was wondering if anyone on here has been and can give some more info? I know they have the apple set and a couple of printed bricks as well as the two tee shirts but was wondering if there was anything else or if the tee shirts come in black as well as white? Any info is appreciated! Cheers :)
Splat Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 (edited) While on a business trip back in October, I stopped in at the NYC Lego store. Some unique things that they had were some t-shirts (most seemed kids sized, but they might have had adult ones too - I didn't really look too hard), a keyring with a New York branded minifig, a fridge magnet with a New York branded minifig (the minifig is glued to the magnet), a small poly bag set of Brickley (40019), and a larger Brickley set (3300001). FYI, Brickley is the big dragon/serpent/Loch Ness Monster type thing that is snaking it's way around the roof of the NYC store. I didn't have too much time to look around, so I didn't notice if there was anything else. Hopefully others that had a bit more time there can help out too... Edited April 10, 2013 by Splat
K-Nut Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 I was there multiple times, and the only unique things I saw were the things that Splat said. They did have Series 3 and 4 minifigs, though.
